Blanc Slate

BATON ROUGE -- Gov. Kathleen Blanco asked President Bush on Monday to declare Aug. 29 as a national day of prayer, and invited him to personally participate in some of the events being planned to commemorate the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.

Rather burn in "hell," thanks.

public schools open for permanent vacation.

Missing New York - tri-city -
but not enough to exit Nola
for more than a few weeks at a time,
just long enough
to pine
